I just noticed that the updated roster has Ezell Ruffin as a running back and has #34. The roster that was handed out at the practice had Ruffin at #82 and wide receiver and had Deonte Williams at RB with #34. There was no #82 with the WR. There was a #41 with the WR and no one on the hand out at WR with that number. He looked very fast. Could he have been Ruffin? Who knows? So I do not know who is who?? Help! I wish they would not give out numbers like 34 and 9 to players.

There are a ton of walk-ons from last year: Dominique Sandifer (I think he was a walk on) Dylan Denso Japheth Gordon Juan Roman Chad Young Brice Heers Ryne Clark Vaness Harris
along with 10 true frosh (11 if you count Hillman) on the depth chart, looks like Hoke is working on a complete overhaul.

Sandifer wasn't a walk-on: rivals.yahoo.com/sandiegostate/football/recruiting/commitments/2008/sandiegostate-93Great to hear that rather than being an indication that Deonte Williams didn't make it in, the reason for his absence from the posted roster is apparently an oversight by SDSU's crack athletics department staff. (Yeah, I DO complain a lot about them. I just wish they didn't make it so easy to do so.) Edit: MKetch says Williams did NOT make it in. Anybody know for sure?

He was practicing. I think that means he made it through the clearing house, but the admin weenies could still pull a Hillman on us. Hant in there, Matt
