What happened to Quinones that he went from playing time last year to nowhere on the depth chart?

And on the other side, so has my guy, The Venerable Beed. A couple other thoughts. First, I'm thrilled for Darryn Lewis to have apparently earned a starting job after starting out as a walk-on. Particularly for his size, that guy hits like a ton of bricks and if everybody we have worked as hard, we would be bowling for sure. Also, when was the last time our second, third and fourth QBs were all freshmen? Never to my recollection and it scares the heck out of me to think that Lindley might go down with an injury.

Nice to see Jacob Driver breaking the 4 deep. Probably heard me calling him out. Oldie Out

Dwanye Garrett is listed as the 4th RB. I thought he was going to redshirt? Whatever happens, there should be a good battle for playing time. I also find it interesting that the NT from O'side, Galea'i, didn't crack the depth chart.

I was also wondering about Quinones being left off the list.

FYI- There is also a new roster dated today... Notably missing is JC RB Deonte Williams.

What I remember from his last few interviews was the talk of competition. With them working to improve the running game, I think the backs and the O'line is where people are going to be written down in "pencil" for now.

First, he supposedly "played through injury" last year at Sierra College. Second, I've been concerned why he would have gone out of state to a DIAA school for his freshman year of college, then come back to California to a JC for his sophomore year. That's after he reportedly attended different high schools in 11th and 12th grade, thereby making SDSU his fifth school in five years.

How often do they change the roster anyway? Daily, weekly?

Yes Deonte williams was there and looked good. But I didn't see Ezel Ruffin. He had number 82 on the roster sheet but there was no 82 there. Also, I am sure that when I looked at the roster this morning he was on there with the wide freceivers, but this evening I do not see his name. I hope nothing has happened to him??

I loved the NAU film of him I saw, and my gramps had told me about him as he has a place out side flagstaff - he can seriously help this team I think

Interesting to note that of the 17 OL actually listed on the depth chart: 2 are walk-on RS-FR, 2 are true FR, only 2 are SR, 11 are SO or JR.
Hoke & Co may not be signing many OL this cycle, especially if they can continue to find quality OL willing to walk-on.

I just noticed that the updated roster has Ezell Ruffin as a running back and has #34. The roster that was handed out at the practice had Ruffin at #82 and wide receiver and had Deonte Williams at RB with #34. There was no #82 with the WR. There was a #41 with the WR and no one on the hand out at WR with that number. He looked very fast. Could he have been Ruffin? Who knows? So I do not know who is who?? Help!

I would imagine that he ends playing the slot as well.
