Will China's economy burst like a pricked balloon?

It's a rare day when I recommend to you a piece by Paul Krugman. But here it is, a warning about how the Chinese economy may well be headed for trouble. The question is not whether that would hurt us. The question is, How much would that hurt us?

Some things to think about for sure. I kind of get the feeling that Krugman did not show the same concerns about what we were doing on the spending side as he does with China. At any rate, Krugman has lost credibility with me the last few years and anything he writes must be looked at critically and deeply.
