In the prospectus Jamaal is listed on the roster, page 5 and the squad listing, page 1, as a 6-5 guard weighing 190. On page 5 under team notes he's described as a wing. Under his bio on page 31 he's a guard, 6-7, 225. A big difference, but just a typo? I know he's going to be very good.

Because Leonard is 6'7 225 I would assume a mix up/typo with his info. Based on the recent video highlights of Franklin at all star games this summer ... I would be surprised if he was bigger than 6'6 200lbs next year. And Franklin is already 20 (or close to if he's not already) so he probably isn't getting much taller, but I could easily see him put on 20-30 lbs over the next few years and grow into a good sized SF/wing. Billy White was only 6'7 185 coming out of high school and regarded as a perimeter player, but he's now listed at 6'8 235 (50lbs he put on). He was 212 as a freshman .. 226 as a soph and 235 as a junior. rivals.yahoo.com/sandiegostate/basketball/recruiting/player-Billy-White-37153;_ylt=Avjq.UKr6icj3FmH8mrRxsENtpB4

Just my take from info I've heard. Jamaal is about 64/6-5.
EVERYBODY I have talked to (including some players on the team) say his athletism is lights out. Also he is very long.
My guess is that he is around 6-5 and plays bigger than he is.

That photo with Kobe, Kobe was a little taller, but Franklin had longer arms, dude is going to disrupt the passing lanes, with his hops snag some crazy boards and throw down some gangsta dunks. With prep school and already being a decent age, he is going to come in physically as a man and if he's willing to be, be a defensive weapon for us this year before he slides over into the lineup
