This game is the most important game of the season for SDSU. A loss this Saturday and it's likely we go to 1-3 after the Air Force game the following week. If we lose this Saturday and then lose to AF, we would have to win five of eight to go to a bowl. That ain't gonna happen. If Hoke is as good of coach as everybody thinks, we should win saturday easily. (Or if Chuck Long was as horrible as everybody says)
We beat Idaho last year by somewhere near 30 points. They are no better than last year or at the best a little better.
We have a better coach, one more year of experience, and a deeper team than last year.

And we ain't UDub.
The game is in their house, so if I were inclined to place a bet, I wouldn't give more than seven. JMO.

I gave 16 to a nephew last week for a 6-er.

No doubt about it, the Idaho game is crucial. A total, 60 minute effort with minimal errors is what we need. The Vandals are not to be confused with USC, but they appear better than last year.
I have no doubt whatsoever that Brady Hoke and his staff are taking this game very, very seriously. I suspect that he has said some like this: "Any player to dogs it in Moscow is likely to see a lot of bench time!"
That's what I would say were I the Aztec H.C.

Canepa has it right......we made way too many mistake in the S. Utah game. If we repeat that performance, Idaho is a winner this Saturday. If Idaho gets the lead in this game, we're in trouble. The defense better step up.

I think Wazzu didn't win any. I did see UDub play LSU last week in person in Seattle. I would say UDub is a good team, but they aren't all that bad. |
