From the UT:
Hoke said he expects Sierra College transfer Perry Jackson to be medically cleared to begin practice with the rest of the team on Monday. The defensive lineman had been rehabilitating from a knee injury suffered in his first game last year in junior college. Hoke said “everybody will report” this weekend except lineman recruit Joe Unga, who failed to qualify academically. Hoke said Oceanside defensive back recruit J.J. Whittaker will report even though he won’t play because of his knee injury.
May explain why he wasn't listed on the depth chart.

I'm sure they're just being careful with Jackson. Once they see what he's physically capable of, then they'll make depth chart decisions.

I am excited, we have all 85 scholarships again...that can't hurt the program.

Anyone hear the media day press conference today? goaztecs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/080510aab.htmlWas listening to hacksaw just now and he stated that in the end of the press conference coach Hoke asked the the community to believe and support this team. Almost as if to challenge the alumni and overall community to come out and support this team. He said the team believes in itself, now it's time for the alumni and SD to beleive.

I'm ready. I want to believe. I already do to a point. I'm just waiting for the results to catch up to my perception.
