Not sure this hasn't been posted already (been away a while)...but, the Aztec vs. BYU basketball game in Viejas (??) is going to be televised on CBS instead of the MTN. Can't remember if it's going to be regional or national (I think it's national) ....but it marks a first since the inception of the MTN that the mothership has upgraded a game for national distribution. That is going to be fun....can't wait to see "The Show" on national TV!

I think we're all pretty jazzed about this since we heard a couple days ago; furthermore, first time any Mountian West Conference game has been on a national over-the-air network. Good sign of increasing national awareness/acceptance

I'm wondering if it is too much to ask for a few things: 1) that the MWC contract out and pay for some quality refs (so we don't embarrass ourselves on national TV); 2) that we could get a real barn burner, even overtime game...kind of what we've come to expect between these two teams in the recent years (put on a good show for the nation) 3) that the other "Show" gets some good face time on TV and shows the country how fun it is to play hoops out West. 4) but MOSTLY...that LTB loses another "wager" from the previous game in Provo and has to get some face time on NATIONAL TV to pay his debt to society! I think we're all pretty jazzed about this since we heard a couple days ago; furthermore, first time any Mountian West Conference game has been on a national over-the-air network. He does MWC/Pac 10/Wac.....And I saw him doing NIT games and NCAA games......They pretty much get all around.

do not mind having the bye before the game It gives us more time to prepare for them, which is a good thing with a tough game.
