If I were a family member of a player I would want to see my son on TV 5 or 6 times, not once. The Mountain keeps me as a Aztec for life. 1 basketball game and 1 football game does not make it. I get to scout the teams we play we before we play them. I get to see how good they are. Will people not see us on TV at Missouri and Michigan? Did not Boise choose to give up the recruiting advantage of ESPN? ?

Does TW carry Versus and CBSC? A lot of Aztec basketball games will be on those two networks this year.

"This deal will allow our teams to kick off when they want to kick off, not when the TV networks want us to kick off," conference commissioner Craig Thompson said then.
And it was assumed the network would go national.
How has that worked out? None of San Diego State's six home football games last season had the same kickoff time. Games started at 5:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
I think this statement is a bit questionable given that I think what Thompson was saying was that MWC teams wouldn't be stuck with games on weekday nights as the "middle major" conference teams are on ESPN.

What ever happened to Can't See TV? It has been at least speculated many times if not out and out reported that the Presidents did not want mid week football games and wanted double the money, they instructed Thompson to take the deal. Conf. Commissioners have no power, they are press secretaries
