I noticed AztecMesa is almost at 500 members. How many members do you think AztecMesa should have? How long will it take us to reach 1,000 members?

There should be more because I know personally people who just come on here to read and never post or even sign up. Not sure when we'll reach 1k. How many were on the old board/s?

Thanks for guilting me into signing up. One closer to 1000. There was nothing wrong with not signing up, now we have an official name to you if you want to talk to the rest of Aztec nation, ;D Also if/when you meet someone from here at a game or around town, you have reference of "oh that's you". I have met some folks from here and they all were good people. Welcome 858kid!

Older posters are still learning that the board changed. I had a guy e-mail me the other day wondering what happened to Aztectalk and didn't know where to post.
It will keep growing.

im guessing we will reach 1000k after our first football game. People will search online and find this website.
Hmmmm I think we should put up flyers in school about this website. wouldnt that boost up people getting more into SDSU sports?

I prefer that people who have nothing interesting to say, do not post.
But it would be nice if they could take part in polls and things.
SIGN 'UM ALL UP I SAY

AztecTalk.com is down, so I couldn't check its membership total. AztecTalk.org, however, is still up (though non-operational). It had 2228 members. However, I think that many of those were not really active. Also, at least in the case of AztecTalk.org, that membership total was achieved over several years. AztecMesa started just about a year ago this month and had only 41 members when the big change occurred on May 28. That means that the membership has increased ten-fold in a little over two months and continues to grow.
If you check the daily stats for AztecMesa you will see that there are hundreds more who visit the site than there are members. Today's stats show 495 registered members, but only 185 of those logged on as such. 924 were guests, etc., and I suspect that many of those were registered members who just didn't bother to log in.
We've been averaging between 1,000 and 1,100 hits a day. That's not bad. I would like everyone to register, but that really isn't required. I guess it's the total number of persons who visit the site each day that counts.

The main thing is that traffic seems to be pretty high and is continuing to grow. (Now, if only there were a way to charge everyone 10 cents per visit! ;D AzWm

I check the board many times each day hoping to read about the newest Aztec recruit; I check the board AT LEAST 10 times on a Saturday or Sunday. Why so often you ask? It's fun to find an informative thread that does not feature one poster attacking another and that presents the info in something other than, How dare you question my info or source or inside knowledge!
