What a complete dick that one commenter is. What he says is mostly true, but as far as I'm concerned he's a disgrace to the Red and Black.

It is J.O's like the converted alumnus that keep SDSU from being what it should be. San Diego has weanie a** fans.
Don't think I am trolling, I have had SDSU season tix since '92. I remember how many people we pulled when there was a good product, albeit frustrating, team on the field. However, in typical San Dieg fan fashion, the second we stopped doing decent they all bailed out. You see it with the Padres and Chargers as well.

I thought it was cute that a Ute said we would irrelevant to them soon. Here I was thinking they were going to be irrelevant to college football and basketball once they live in the shadow of USC and Oregon in football and UCLA and UA in basketball. |

With SC and even Oregon off a bit in Football I could see Utah winning the PAC 10 their first year. I think BYU, TCU and Boise would even contend in that conference right now. |

One of my memories of rabid Aztec fans was from a game against MCRD that we played back in the early 60s. The Aztecs had gotten a number of players injured by what appeared to be dirty playing by MCRD. The refs seemed oblivious. I was just a 10 year old at the time, but it seemed to me the fans were on the verge of storming the field in anger. I think the game was at the old Balboa Stadium. THOSE WERE AZTEC FANS!!!!!!!  |
