I think he would only have one year of eligibility left. But him and Sandifer would do well to replace Demarco and VJ

I think he would only have one year of eligibility left. But him and Sandifer would do well to replace Demarco and VJ He redshirted so I think you're right. Shame. So much promise - and he was set to be the Buffs #1 receiver this fall. He should've committed to be an Aztec straight from high school. Oh well, I'd gladly take the kid for one year if his head is back on straight.

Hoke said last week there's a guy who "wants to" transfer here, but didn't sound too enthusiastic about him. I mentioned it in a thread about another guy. Maybe he was referring to Simas.

Issac Curtis transferred here from Cal.and that worked out pretty well for one year. The same with Sandusky from UNLV. We have had pretty good luck with guys like that.

My hope is that Hoke is happy with our current crop of young receivers and doesn't see the need for a player that will only be here for one year. On the other hand, it probably couldn't hurt to add another quality receiver.

Hoke has already passed on Ryan Bass, Edward Nuckols, etc who could have filled positions of need. WR isn't a weakness on this team and Simas was kicked-off his last team. I would be surprised if Hoke extended more than an offer to walk-on.
