Like I said in another thread, Frieri is good. I don't see him going back down this year.

Like I said in another thread, Frieri is good. I don't see him going back down this year. I wish you were right. I am afraid you are not. But rosters expand on September 1st. Maybe a convenient injury (Webb, Mujica) will allow him to remain.

Hope to God that Mujica develops a case of the sniffles.

Frieri looked great again tonight! Strikes out 3 and walks one, in one inning of work.

Hope to God that Mujica develops a case of the sniffles. When he went 3-1 against Kemp, I was thinking here comes the home run. When Mujica gets behind, he doesn't make good pitches. He needs to adjust his thinking to not give into hitters. Being behind in the count is not the time to just lay a fastball down the middle. Mujica does that. Walking a batter is not the end of the world. Frieri looks great. He has to stay. Time for Corriea to get the sniffles. Role wise. Stauffer replaces Corriea. Webb replaces Stauffer. Frieri replaces Webb.

I see him as the Cunningham of the bullpen, he may be doing well, but because he has options he's the one going down.
Should be interesting to see what kind of moves are made in the upcoming week or so, Adams and Eck could be back by then.
