Must be more or less standard now... I was in New Orleans for the NCAA tourney this year, no alcohol sold in the arena.

Full service bah at Sam Boyd.. , (Thomas and Mack too..). I tailgate with my UTE buddies when the Aztecs are in town. There's a lot next to the Utah campus, which the school felt they had control over. Courts said no, so there's these party animals with massive quantities of alcohol, in their RV's SUV's and pickups, surrounded by the "family atmosphere" of a university in downtown Salt Lake City. To me, kinda bizarre actually.

I believe even when we were allowed to sell beer at Cox (the good old days of stumbling down the aisle with two sam adams) they couldn't when they hosted the tourney, tourney is no signage or alcohol regardless of where it is.

Only two beers worth drinking:
Noche Buena, which the idiots marketing Cerveza Moctezuma brewery products seem to think nobody in this country wants; and
Negro Modelo.
There is no question that Mexican breweries make the best dark, non-stout beers on the face of the planet (while recognizing that their light beers, namely Corona and Pacifico, suck - although I'll take a Pacifico over a Corona every day of the week).
I've drunk a lot of beers over the years, from the U.S., England, Ireland, France, Belgium, China, Japan, Denmark, Germany and Australia and none of them compare to the non-stout dark beers produced in Mexico.
To taste a Noche Buena is to taste a little bit of Heaven.

Drinking warm, milky Schlitz out of an old milk jug? ...though it was probably great as a college student Yeah and the SD Famous Chicken loved it too. He got his start by walking around the stadium at Aztec games (circa '74 or so) and swilling out of all us students' gallon milk containers filled with beer. And he wasn't faking it either! He was guzzlin' that stuff down! Those were the days, man. Never to be seen again.

Never to be seen again. my how the pendulum has swung, now they got half the city's police force trolling the parking lot for underage drinking. I guess it's good, I would have had some serious problems if I was able to bring in a milk bottle of beer
