This kid can run people over! He is player and refuses to go down. Love the song the video starts out with. We will being telling other teams the same thing this year, move bitch, get out the way!!! We will be moving up the MWC this year. In Hoke I trust!

Just finished wathching his youtube clips. My thoughts:
-tough MF'er -great power, burst, balance -makes the first guy miss but doesn't have a 5th gear
Really like the pickup. Hoke recruits tough guys.

I'm curious, who else was recruiting him?

I like what I see in this running back. I hate what I hear. Totally offensive.

ESPN lists him as 5'6'', Rivals @5'9". A straight ahead runner, not afraid of contact. Didn't appear to be able outrun anyone. Does appear to get to the hole quickly but is he fast enough for a D-1 RB? So what do we do with him? Put another 20lbs on him and make him a FB? LBer?

Do not need wheels if you have this kids vision and toughness. At the very least he will be able to play FB.

First thing that popped in my mind - we are recruiting eastern San Gabriel Valley (where all the talent has moved to) and it seems to be paying off with a couple players a year. I like the strategy.

Anybody know how many schollies we have this year. We seem to have a boat load of running backs with this years incoming class and now 3 more for next year!

We could be using the TCU method of getting of getting athletes and finding different positions for them.

He reminds me of George Jones and a little of UCLA's Maurice Jones-Drew. - strong and powerful leg strength
- physical and initiates the contact
- low center of gravity and good balance.
Doesn't have breakaway speed. Oldie Out

LOVING how active this coaching staff is. Seems like every other day another recruit is being announced. Thirteen already? Damn!

He definitely is shifty for a bigger body. Combine that with his power and this could be a great get wherever he plays.

I like the kid's toughness and attitude but about the only place I can see him playing is FB. Too short and slow (per the video) to play any other position and there is only so much weight you can add to a 5'6"/5'9" frame. Apparent lack of speed limits his effectiveness on special teams also. However, I am basing this all on his tape and could be way off - actually I hope I am.
I'd like to see us get guys with speed and decent height. It is easy to add muscle to a tall-framed kid. You can't teach speed or height...
