I buy season tix to financially support the program. I can't waste my time watching schools like Bryant yada yada. Would rather do something a little more fun. Honest truth That's fine. Just give 'em up when you aren't going to be there so we can fill up the arena. It's lame that the reason there were only 6k last night was because people sat on their tickets. Give 'em away, sell em, just don't sit on 'em. I tried to give away some extras (Row 5) for the exhibition games but the demand just isn't there yet. Look at all the threads offering good tickets for this weekend. Look at the 2/3rds full student section, just like the rest of the arena. These games aren't sold out, anyone who really wanted to go could easily get a ticket from any number of sources. Plain and simple the demand isn't there yet. Even last year it took a while before there was real demand.

Especially now that games count. I actually just left a couple of tickets outside the "V" ticket counter because I couldn't find anyone to give them to. Does anyone know of an organization that would take donated tickets (Boys and Girls Club etc.) ?

I volunteer with some organizations in City Heights who work with Crawford & Hoover high school student athletes. If you ever have tickets you want to pass along, drop me a message and I'll help you get them to a deserving organization.

Honest truth That's cool that you buy season tickets to support the program. I've heard of others that do this for football and don't even live in SD and ever use those tickets. Question though, did you give those tickets away or re-sell them? For me, I was only able to go to the 1st exhibition game but gave away the last two to make sure that people will be in attendance. I had so many people from last year that couldn't get tickets so I'm making sure they get these tickets to experience The Show and Viejas arena. Thanks again for supporting the program

I'll keep this in mind and hopefully anyone else who can't give their ticket/s away. We need to keep doing our part in putting butts in the seats to continue our home court advantage. And maybe we'll just keep this momentum of being a great college atmosphere

And putting butts in seats is also a good way to grow a fan base.

I bought 2 GA season tickets. I live in North County and am not off work until 530 or 6pm, so not sure how many week night games I will go to. I went to CSUSM, missed PLNU, and will be attending game 3 of 3 for the weekend this afternoon. My problem is that they raised GA prices up to $20, and season GA is $4.75 per game. I know I will go to well over 5 games this year...again, my 4th today. Why pay single game price of $200 for 10 games, when I can get all for $100?! I know there is generally a savings for buying season seats and that makes sense. However, when the single game price is over 5 times as much, I have a problem with that. Sure it works out financially for me...especially getting a pay cut Dec 1. Nonetheless, I would expect season price to be at least $200 or about $10 a game when they are charging $20 for GA. I have 4 season football tickets and 2 of 4 usually go unused because of lack of interest....never asking $ for them either. Couldn't give away my PLNU tickets either. Just my 2 cents. I don't see how someone would be expected to pay $200 to go to 10 games when one could pay half that, but leave their seat unused for 11 games.

Give them to Big Brother or Big Sisters so that kids can go to the games. How about the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Diego.

I guess my point is I'd rather see season prices more, than to have ticket holders "break even" at going to 5 of 21 games and leave empty seats. Even if that means paying double. Just seems like bad price points to me. Hope to see more there today at 3pm... the dunks last night were priceless.
