Below was the records of the Padres when they were at 60%.
9 6 12 8 24 16 27 18 30 20 45 30 60 40
CONSISTENT
60% is on pace to finish: 97-65. A little push we could get to 100 wins.

I am so ashamed. At the beginning of the season, I had sold the Padres off as second tier material. I had no idea that our pitching staff would come up big like they have. Can we give the credit to Black?
Bill, I was going to make a flippant comment about your stats there and say something like, "Yep, every time they reached .600 that was exactly where they were; but most would have missed the humor in that, so I'll commend you for putting up the numbers instead. Net additive content is what we are striving for and you, as usual, are doing a damn good job.

It was mostly funny because of the delivery. Thank you. An interesting side note. Notice all the losses are even numbers when we hit 60%. They have to be. When you have won 60% of your games you have to have an even number of losses.

This is the Padres second best record after 100 games in franchise history. Bud Black is looking like a master right now.

Interesting that 35-24 ending last year was one win away from 60% - 36-24.

Padres need to go 6-3 over the next 9 games to hit the 60% mark, 75-50. Since they hit 30-20, 45-30, and 60-40, it seems like fate has already decided they will sit at 75-50.

I would be thrilled if they go 75-50. That will add more games to their lead and they have some tough series in September.
