Or the pitchers of his era that blew their arms out over the machismo of give me the ball. Maybe when Sandy couldn't feel his hand he should have let a start pass, but he didn't and so one of the greatest pitchers or at least on one of the greatest runs hung em up rather than deal with it anymore.

Actually the manager who was responsible for blowing out Kerry Woods arm is the same one managing the Nationals now...Maybe he's learned from his mistake...I call that a do over.

Bunning was a great pitcher in his day, but he's an asshole todaay for jumping on Stras without knowing the full story.
