Looks like Rivals is reporting Coach V has been removed from the short list for the CSN head coach job. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! on another note: little cv reports that 22 new recruits working hard in the weight room and off hitting off the tee preparing for next year. With 25 returning players there will be some fierce competition for roster spots next year. jonesing for baseball...... cv out

How many of the top recruits who were drafted are actually practicing with the team? Who are these top recruits who decided to enroll at SDSU?

Ask your son if Anderson and Yuhl are practicing with the team. I'll be surprised if they are.
I heard Vader signed. Walby's not listed, but committed, but I believe he signed as well.

Walby's not listed, but committed, but I believe he signed as well. anderson and yuhl are there. vader is gone and i think walby is also. expected that though. i believe you will see a whole different attitude on the field as the returning juniors will take this team and turn it into a hard working fun loving kick ass team. the piss poor attitudes are not back this year and the guys that really want to be there will make this a program and hopefully instill that attitude in the newbies. this is the year Tony needs to let them play and have some fun. can't wait for fall ball to start..... cv out

It'll be interesting to see how the pitching develops. No juco pitching recruits this year? They need another Lavigne, and even Berger was at least steady in the big Stras year.
Will Bryan return to form after taking one to the head? Hope so, all the best to him.
Who else is a quality pitcher returning?
Keegan Yuhl has been an effective high school pitcher for the last 4-years. Can he make the transition? Can he handle the conditioning regime?
Kyle Hayes can throw it, but he's definitely a two-way guy, interesting to see what they do with him.
Reed and Kendzora will be interesting to follow. It's just tough to become a consistent starter as a freshman.
