Some of that is on Lindley and some of that is on the O Line...

Lindley is a stud he's gonna be just fine. He was learning a new system with a new coach with a bad line and in my opinion did an exceptional job.

"The best thing about Freshman ... they turn into Sophomores"
In this case a sophomore turns into a Junior. Experience is huge in college football. I think the pac 10 went something like 10 years with the winning conference team having a Sr quarterback.
With everything Lindley was dealing with last year: - he was only a sophomore. - new coach - new system - playing under center for the first time in a while - poor Oline play at times - losing his best WR in the middle of the season
I think Lindley did a great job. Mistakes and all. I expect him to be one of the best QB's in the league this year.

The good news is that Lindley is now a Junior with two years experience; he is the best we have. The bad news is that there is no one on the roster who is even second best. If Ryan goes down, we are sunk! We need to develop a backup and quickly. AzWm

Home Run hitters strike out a lot, while hitting the long ball.
QB's that pass a lot, will throw interceptions.
Lindley has made a couple of young mistakes, but overall I think he has done quite well.

Just going through some game statistics from last season, and stating the obvious ( make you wanna pull yer hair out thinking "what could have been"- and its not just Ryan's follies, so don't think I'm singling him out. There'll be more threads to come). Growing pains, we expected it. No need kick a guy down when he's learning on the job, ladies. Oldie Out

I imagine he'll be much better and more consistent this year. He had too many overall pciks and fumbles last year, he'll explode this year

He will be a late first or second round NFL pick after his Sr. season.

I sometimes think that we would be better off without some of our "biggest" fans.
