Would have been a huge turnout if they allowed it. Good idea.

Would have been a huge turnout if they allowed it. Good idea. Agree. As someone who spent 3 weeks in South Africa for the World Cup, I can tell you that they're actually not that annoying when you're in the stadium. It's much more annoying when you're watching on TV, and how many people would really be watching the game? I think this would have been a good way to bring in additional fans.

That's very disappointing.
Yes, they are annoying, but not intolerable. I guarantee you this would have brought out students in force. Granted they may have left by halftime, but they tend to do that anyway.

Would have been a huge turnout if they allowed it. Good idea. No really dumb idea. Really really sucks when some idiot is sitting behind you and blowing on one all fricking night. Thanks to the MWC this will not happen.

A friend just returned with one from his trip to South Africa. He blew it once. That was enough. It DOES NOT make a 'buzzing' sound. What you heard on TV was the attempt by the network to muffle the sound.

Nice decision by the MWC. As the years have gone by this conference has matured. I can see in the past no one would have been thinking of this and we'd end up finding out about the idea by playing New Mexico in a Pit full of Vuvuzela's or Provostan Stadium full of them. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.

marketing and coming up with ideas is hard. there will always be people who hate your idea and think it's dumb. i know it's these guys job to come up with stuff, but people in the show are constantly throwing around ideas of things to try out during the season and i would say MOST of them are met with "that is the dumbest idea ever" and they never materialize. but once in a while something catches a spark and takes off. Like the Woos! and even now, there are a lot that don't like it. (even though the team and students love it)
