I heard that from Hoyer on the radio today. Said he should be back sometime during spring training. Waste of a season for him this year.

But most guys come back from Tommy John and are stronger...I'm glad they are going to resolve this and the BEAST should be healthy. He's still only 23...soon to be 24.

He has been on the DL for 2 and a half months. Why didn't they come to this conclusion sooner? He could already be well on his way to recovery by now.

He could have recovered and played again this year, based upon his symptoms. They were only convinced TJ was necessary after rest didn't work. I am afraid he won't be ready to go until later in the year. If we trade AGon at the trading deadline next year, hopefully Blanks will be ready to then step into the breach.
