First they took the Head Coach of UT, now they take a Offensive Coach from the TN. Titans.
Well they are about to be sued by the Titans.
So how can we be expected to recruit against them?
They are the biggest power in College football and the reason is California.
So we have that advantage at a lower level and we can't even afford out of State scholarships.
We need to start suiting to become a BCS program.
Even if we go to a Bowl game we will not get any money after expenses.

The money you are referring to is in a "major" bowl and TV contracts.

The money you are referring to is in a "major" bowl and TV contracts. It's really just TV contracts. The bowl money (IIRC $17million for the first BCS team) comes out to much less than $1 million per school after expenses are paid in the Pac-10. However, the TV contracts are expected to pay each school around $20 million per season for both football and basketball. I've heard the MWC contract pays us $1.2 million per year.

Bingo, Bowl money is yesterday's news for the big schools. For example, if the Big 10 sends two teams to bcs bowls, the payout to the entire conference will be roughly what each individual school makes from the regular season tv deals

Well we do have more TV's then most BCS schools. We also have more graduates.
Basketball is going to give us more name recognition. Strauberge has keep out name out there this summer.
I would like to see our rankings to other D1 schools. May be we should do this research if the school wont.
SDSU rates higher then 2 D1 schools here in TN. Vanderbilt and Middle TN State.
