Yes, this article does not present good news, but don't allow BS to sway you with his alarmist intent. It has to be put into perspective. It's not only SDSU, or Cal schools. This is a nationwide problem whether it be BCS or non-BCS schools. Cal is cutting back alot as well....... |

No out of state athletes would have a pretty big impact on tennis I think (a lot of players tend to be Euros), but other than that you can field pretty decent teams in any of the other sports with CA-only talent.

If we go 10-1 we may get 35000 fans to come out cuz SD is such a terrific sports town.  And if we go 10-1 in golf, we might get 3-5 fans to come out. (MIGHT being the operative word.) |
