It would be silly to not think that some of the opposition to Obama was race based, but not near as much as you think. His policies and what his actions have been coupled with how he seems to be truth adverse to a degree much larger than anyone including Clinton, that Obama is disliked and appears to be a one term President. No, it is actually much more than I would have thought. I really believed that this country and outgrown much of that. I guess we just have to disagree. I know some racism exists, but radical policy that is destructive is a bigger factor by far.

After golf, sitting around with a drink with your buddies, I cannot believe that when discussing politics and Obama that the "N" word does not appear. I know it does at my club.

I don't know about your "club", but sometimes my hunting buddies talk about a hybrid duck they've seen that runs around squawking: "HALFBLACK - HALFBLACK - HALFBLACK"... ...like the insurance company TV duck....

What Lindsey Graham thinks has what bearing on things? It is just another opinion and carries about the same weight as yours or mine. I am interested in the facts surrounding Obama's birth if they will ever surface.

I like the guy. I don't agree with many of his positions but I like and respect him.

Um, because it's the opinion of a rational Republican rather than a right-wing nut job? =Bob Does that mean that you would rather be able to call someone "a right-wing nut job" than know the facts? If you recall, I've always described myself as someone who grew up in a rock solid, New England Republican household. I don't like the extremes on either side, which is why you'll never see me quoting Kos or other left-wing extremist websites (well, now and then I might if I think I can get a rise out of you, Will or Dave . What I want is civility in our civic affairs. I don't care for the Congressman from Florida referring to those who die because they have no health care as being part of a "holocaust" any more than I care for right-wing idiots claiming that a public option would lead to "death panels". Whether you care to recognize it or not, I represent the "middle". The simple fact is this - you've moved so far to the right that you see anyone in the middle as being "far left" and anyone who advocates a position that relies even somewhat on government regulation as being a "Socialist". =Bob

Wing-Nut comments from the article "Don't lose sight of the fact that Obama did not rise to power in Chicago and steal the election without tremendous financial backing and with a much larger plan in effect. The federal reserve, world bank, bilderbergers, illuminati what ever you wish to call them are behind him and have been working toward world domination since long before he was born. Read "None dare call it conspiracy" from early '70s and/or Web of Debt etc. In all matters, to determine what is really going on, just follow the money. The most important thing to understand is "The Federal Reserve" and how totaly evil they are. "
