Brandon is an old buddy of mine and I told him I would pass this along... Brandon is a youth minister now in the South and lives on donations. From Brandon: I have been fundraising most of the summer but I still have a long way to Go!. I am flying back to California the 15th of July to start sharing what God has been doing in my life, my heart, and the community at Bowie State University. God has been raising me up to become a young hero and as I grow I'm lifting up the community around me. The money invested in my ministry is helping me spend valuable TIME with young men on campus. I am continually thankful for everything that God brings in to provide a roof over my head, food on my plate and resources to help me and the students grow. www.navigators.org/us/staff/bornesIf you can donate, please do. Are we allowed to post regarding self interests on this site? I`ll take donations for my work too then. Nothing against whatever Brandon Bornes is doing. I don`t understand why he never got a look with an NFL team. He had his best season as a frosh when Lynell was out but then Long ruined him too. It is a charitable donation and thus ALOT different than donating to your work (I am assuming). If you don't wanna give, don't give... But don't bring the negative energy. He's an amazing AZTEC who has given his life to helping others... |

When Marshall Faulk has his charity event, that needs donations, there's no problem with it... Why a problem here?

He was a good tough runner between the tackles and it sounds like he is a real good kid who wants to help others. Doesn't seem like a guy that s/b criticized for wanting to help others.
