From the "Heard on the Field" section of the Sept. 24, 2011 issue of the Wall Street Journal: Saturday's San Diego State-Michigan game features the most dominant program in big-time college sports: the Aztecs, of course. Over the past 365 days, SDSU has won 88% of its football and men's basketball games, most among the 120 top-level schools. Ohio State, which is No. 2 (87.8%), would be tops if its football wins last year hadn't been vacated because of violations. Toledo is last (24%). online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111903791504576588983522132682.htmlEven though we got molly-whopped last weekend, this is a pretty cool, (unknown to me) fact about our athletics program. We've come a long way Aztecs.
