Since he's the DL coach,he had to know the strengths and weaknesses of each of our OL and DL.
His DL at M pretty much dominated especially #68 and #88. I've not seen Embarnasty knocked on his a** before but #68 just bullrushed him and used his wrestling leverage to win this battle.
Regroup and let's move on.
It was also mentioned in the UT that M appeared stronger. Wellman vs. the new guy I suspect.

They knew who our best players were (hell, they coached them too) and attacked them, head on.

Michigan was just better. Period. But not by as much as the score. Take away Robinson's runs and you have a very close winnable game. If Lindley plays as he did last year, we could have won this sucker.

The replays showing him getting worked over amazed me. Don't know the cause, maybe we lost it in the gene pool and the weight room. Whatever, that's what bought us the loss yesterday. The impact of the line play cascaded into Lindley having an attack of "deer in the headlights" and it was over. Time to move on, my last post on toughness/Michigan/line problems. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.

The reasons we lost this game are in double figures and I think most of us could list at least 8-10 of them.....including coaching. They have 2 weeks to get ready for TCU........if this team is going to be a contender then this game will help define that.

This loss was because of the lack of light bulbs between the ears of Aztec players playing the game. Not because Hoke was a brilliant strategist. Michigan offered to give us this game on numerous occasions. We simply refused to accept the invitation.

Michigan simply had better athletes who were better prepared. Denard Robinson's long runs were a byproduct of good execution on Michigan's part and overpursuit on SDSU's part as much as Robinson's talent level.
SDSU can recoup and have a very good year, but they got beat fairly convincingly yesterday. Maybe on another day, it is different ... but what we saw yesterday was not representative of what SDSU could have shown and was representative of why Brady Hoke wanted to go to UM.
He is off to a good start as is Rocky Long outside of yesterday.

I knew that Hoke would know our dlinemen inside and out and they were able to take advantage of things. They are stronger because they are big ten. big f****** midwesterners. People are saying how UM is the better team... Probably but I think it was a winnable game. If Lindley was more on target and if we don't have those three fumbles.... Besides for Robinson's running I don't see anything special and UM. BTW Robinson can't throw for $#!+. How can that guy be a QB?

Robinson is the classic Nebraska QB they run that option and when they can suck you in they pull up and toss a duck to a wide open wr or TE. They only need a rubber band for an arm & some really good wheels.

Michigan was just better. Period. They were a tad better today. I wish we could play them again this year. I really thought we would win this game 35-17 but who would have figured Ronnie and Ryan having such a bad day.
