Not yet of course. Jones is gonna fight Rashad Evans next after demolishing Rampage. But if Jones dominates Rashad he needs to fight Anderson Silva. Dana White says unlikely because of all the other fighters in line to fight Silva next. I'd tell Dana White push those fighters out of the way and put Jones at the head of the line once he takes out Rashad. espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/7016026/jon-jones-impresses-anderson-silva-loom

that would be very interesting from two "long" athletes.

Rampage honestly didn't do too badly. Jones is just too athletic and long. His striking is so diverse in terms of angles and unpredictability. His Greco-Roman is world-class, his submission game is ever evolving, and he's a serious threat to stay champion for a very long time, until he makes the move to heavyweight. Rampage has been a one-dimensional striker since his Pride days, and he is being eclipsed by the new breed of fighters. A little surprised to see it end in a submission, since Rampage hadn't lost by a sub since the Sakuraba fight way back when. Jones will be far too much for Rashad. Same reach issues for "Sugar" and he's not as talented a striker as Rampage was. His only chance will be to take Jones down (easier said than done) and ride out a decision using control and his top game.

I'd rather see Silva fight GSP in a some sort of catchweight superfight. That would make PPV history.
