The last time I saw our O-line this dominated was in 2005 and we were playing in Las Vegas against their senior dominated line. We had a lot of Sophomores (Robinson, Dombrowski...)
It was no contest when we tried to run. It was played in a wind storm and our passing game was totally useless. Going into the wind, the ball was driven into the ground short of the receiver. Going with the wind the ball sailed. Yet, we came close to winning because our defense was going a hell of a good job.
Our idiot Athletic Director Schemmel could not understand why our passing game was so poor. Of all our idiotic AD's he was the worst I have ever seen. Somehow, he did not even know that there was a windstorm and had no appreciation for what it did to a passing game.

So Joe, what part did Schemmel have in our passing game? He was the AD not the coach!

byu, wyo at their lunch last year. The oline has not taken a step up this year. They played well the 1st 3 games but they did not yesterday. I think that had a lot to do with who we played. Rich Rod's Michigan had a bad defense but that was entirely on the players. They still recruited very well compared to a MW program.

It's rare that SDSU has had an OLine that was anywhere near 310 lbs + and had a nasty disposition. You have to go back to Turley I'd imagine.

I sense the Oline lacks the fire that they had last year. Funk was a very vocal and fiery guy. Rocky tried to keep him here, but if I recall he wanted to be the OC instead. I don't know anything about Dan Finn though. Maybe his blocking technique is different.
