Very good article. Interesting to see how we handle the schedule early on. Go Aztecs!

This is incredible pub. Katz basically calls out every team that refuses to play us. Very excited for the season to get under way.

The article gives great insight to scheduling woes ... Fisher having thought the Vegas tourney was guaranteed but fell through, to having scheduled home games with Arizona and New Mex St, but both ended up falling through, as well. I applaud his determination to schedule bigger names, even if it means playing roadies against IUPUI and Green Bay as long as we still get Gonzaga. And IUPUI and Gren Bay should both have solid RPI's in the low 100's which will be much more beneficial than playing teams like Pt Loma Nazarene or Air Force.
Bottom line, the article basically suggests that the tough schedule, and numerous true road games, will be applauded by the selection committee in march.
Green Bay (22-13 in 09) returns 3 starters and it's top 2 players. IUPUI (25-11 in 09) only lose 3 player from 25 win team.

Great article.
Excellent to read the comments below as well.
Who stepped up for the Show and called Marquette out for copying the big heads? Right on.
Aztec Pride.
