Get this kid. I especially like that he's blocking right handers with his left.

The kid changes his mind everyday. Pomeroy has article that he is prepping in Philly, where he took summer classes. Also, his sister Chelsea said he is still commited to my alma mater on ZagsBlog yesterday.

It is no doubt a confusing and challenging time for him to decide his next move.
But, if he wants to play in Southern California with some high flying players and a chance to make some serious noise in the tournament challenging for a national title, he'd have a great time joining Dwayne Polee II and Jamaal and Skylar and Chase and Xavier and J.J. and Matt and JR and DeShawn and Alec and LaBradford and Coach Fisher and Coach Dutcher and Tony Bland and the Show and .... Hope he decides to make the move.

Isaac is a guard from Crenshaw and has already visited SDSU and seems very interested.

Imagine a 6'10, more athletic Malcolm Thomas with double the shot blocking ability...That's Pelle, however, he lacks any type of post game...he's a finisher on offense, that's it. The guy is the perfect type to play the 5 for Steve Fisher plus he'd be the starter Day 1. Considering he'll get to play for a NCAA contender in SoCal, and already has a friend on the team (Polee), It would be stupid for him "not" to come.

I just sent a tweet to Edward Lewis to get a response to that blog posting. I think he is travelling to Michigan than thus why he has not posted anything about this yet. I HIGHLY doubt Mr. Lewis would have posted this info if it was not true. Don't give up hope yet.
Also, I'm sure Lavin isn't going to let the kid go that easily and I'm sure if 'recruiting' him still.

Edward at Rivals is standing by the story. He posted on Rivals late last night that he spoke to Pelle for about 5 minutes and tape recorded the conversation. Thus, the quotes are 100% accurate. This is of course assuming he actually spoke to the real Pelle and not some imposter.

I still worry about his other schools, especially the hated Kansas and the local UCLA. But UCLA has two 6'10" sophomore centers and Kansas has the 7'0" SD kid Withy, with two more years left. We need to get one very highly ranked kid to start the crush coming down to the Mesa.

I still feel pretty good about our chances here. Edit - He replied back on Twitter that he stands by his story 100%. EdwardLewisASR Edward Lewis @ aztecalum I stand by my story 100 percent.

suggest the coaches keep recruiting until they get something in writing- never know if coach Self or some one similar starts prowling.

They should recruit this guy. Can we announce him at the TCU game and drive him around in a gull wing? He should throw out the first pitch at the Padres game.
