A "good source" ( don't want to say who this came from because I don't know if it's a violation) said that we are trying to get another kid from St. John's. No names were given but he said it was a big guy.
Anyone know anything else about this?!

Would be nice if it was Norvel Pelle who did not qualify for the fall semester.

Pure speculation, (2) of St John's non-quals are from SoCal and have some of the bounce-back markings. Norvel Pelle is a 6'9 PF out of Long Beach, and Amir Garrett is a 6'6 SF out of LA/Findlay Prep. I believe Garrett was on the Aztecs' radar out of HS. No direct info here, just taking a look based on the thread.

That's a definite violation of rule # 42016by4. Minimum fine is $400k and 5 years in the slammer.

He was the rated #23 player and #1 center in the nation. I can confirm it and it is coming from one of the coaches. He is good friends with Polee and he played with Spencer last year. Also went to the same high school as Tony Bland.

He is not a transfer and as soon as the the NCAA said they had to retake the three classes, the NLI was null and void.

Fairly certain coaches are prohibited from commenting on a "signed" player's potential transfer, and am certain SDSU coaches would not do so......... Let's just say you are wrong. Wink, wink. Just a conversation and nothing more. Things come up in a conversation between two people all the time.
