Former BYU guard Loyd Jr. is going to join his younger brother Kevin Loyd and play basketball next season for Midwestern State University — a Division II school in Wichita Falls, Texas that competes in the Lone Star Conference. The Mustangs were ranked as high as No. 2 last season in the D-II Top 25. Loyd will not lose eligibility and will have 2 years remaining. I wonder if Shelley has any consideration of leaving the state? If you're going to go D-II ... this sounds like it is one of the best ones and it will now have 2 talented guards to play with. Devean George played D-III and still made the pros. Good luck TS, wherever you end up. www.deseretnews.com/article/700049553/BYU-basketball-Michael-Loyd-Jr-reportedly-will-play-at-Midwestern-State.html?s_cid=rss-38

Reality is that T. Shelly will never make it in the pros. My hope is that he picks a good learning institution. We wish him the best and his game improved while at SDSU. WIll likely get a quick look overseas.

Its unfortunate on how it ended with M. Lloyd at BYU. Thought he was a solid player that would have contributed alot after JF left to NBA.
