Let's hope so, the jury is still out. If they had won the two games they totally blew last year and got to a bowl I would wholeheartedly agree. The Aztecs need someone to turn around the players fragile ego's and losing attitudes. It is not an easy task.

The loser mentality that has taken hold on the Mesa is one of the big challenges. It wasn't eradicated last year, having raised it's familiar ugly head vs Wyo. And UNLV. Going out with that mentality was not good. Let's hope that Hoke gets a better result on changing the mindset of Aztec football this year. Some early wins should help. Crack me up. We've had the "What happens when [insert former coaches name here] is taken by a BCS school after turning the program around?" debate for years now. And, we've just kept on losing and firing coaches. Not saying I don't think Brady's the man, as thus far I do. Just saying I've been reading these threads since the Tollner days. It epitomizes the defeatist attitude so many fans have about Aztecs sports. Can't blame them myself. After all, over the last 30 years SDSU athletic directors have made twice as many bad personnel decisions as good ones.
