Question...I know winning 6 games makes a team bowl eligible, but is there a scenario where SDSU wins 6 games and does not get an invite to a bowl? I don't really know all the MWC bowl tie-ins and how such a horrible scenario might play out.
Anyone know?

In today's bowl-happy environment, where Fresno St. loses every year in the NM Bowl, 6 wins practically guarantees a toilet bowl somewhere.
But we are SDSU, so expect the worst.

only if every other team finishes with a better record. so only if 37 finish 7-5. virtually impossible.

Could we go 6-6 and not get a bowl invite? Well, of course! We are, after all SDSU! If there is a way we generallly find it. Seems like a long shot, but I never discount anything when it comes to SDSU. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.  |

There are 5 MWC bowl tie-ins, so it wouldn't even be possible unless 6 or more teams had 6 wins in the MWC and then everyother bowl tie-in was used up.

This is getting just too negative. I'm going to ask the moderator to issue a warning to any Aztec fan who cannot imagine a way we get to a bowl if we win 6 games. ;D

Wyoming did four years ago. UNM did three years ago, I believe. We have four bowl tie-ins. If we have five bowl eligible teams, it is very possible one does not go.
