I was just browsing craigslist, and came across a tryout for the san diego surf. On their roster is our very own Richie Williams.

Apparently they have only been around 1 season.

Does anyone know any info about this league, team?

Where do they play? I would love to go watch some games, especially when the aztecs arent playing, and watch our very own richie continue playing ball

Assuming this is an updated roster you were looking at... he may just be playing there during the summer or something, its hard to say. He was on that team last season from roughly December through the end of January before he went to Sweden or Norway or something like that to play.

Their games are played at Miramar College, I believe. Not exactly quality basketball, but a possible chance to see Richie.

I know 2 of the cheerleaders. Twins and both are AZTECS Alum.

i believe that is last years. as previously posted. he played with them then got picked up overseas.

And he had a very good season in Iceland.

I hear rumors that Richie may get a real good shot at a nice contract in Europe in the upcoming year.
