Would have been nice to replace UTEP as the 4th host site in this tournament rather than get the game at Gonzaga and then go into the loser's bracket in the CBE.

there is no loser bracket in the CBE - only the 4 host teams play for semis and championship the other school just play each other for sh** and giggles. The Zags can lose both game and they are still in the semis b/c they are a host team.
go figure

It's not really a consolation bracket, not a loser's bracket. It doesn't really have a name I suppose.

We better start selling out and keep winning and then we can do the same.

I am hoping this is the year ( which becomes a tradition) where we regularly selmout and Viejas is the place to be on game nights in San diego.

CBE boils down to 2 road games, and 1 neutral, the road game with the ZAGS could have major implications in the ratings and placement in the NCCA T. Consolation or whatever doesn't really matter, the only thing that does is winning games, If we want to have a highly rated team then we need to win games especially road games against rated teams(Zags) and hopefully on national TV
