It appears they have given up hope of holding the House and are planning some destructive Lame Duck legislation. xrl.us/DemsloseSenate

You are reading an opinion piece -- not something factual.
Ironically, he says (waaaaaaay in the last paragraph), "Many Democrats insist there will be no dramatic lame-duck agenda." But no matter, most people have stopped reading by then and he can always minimize the impact of that statement in the next sentence anyway.
Amazing what happens when Fox buys the WSJ.
Yoda out...

Of course it is an opinion piece! It happens to be my opinion as well. Do you think the Dems have any real hope of retaining power in the house? They could possibly lose the Senate as well.

Of course it is an opinion piece! It happens to be my opinion as well. Do you think the Dems have any real hope of retaining power in the house? They could possibly lose the Senate as well. My point was, the Democrats do not have a lame duck plan. Some writer -- needing to fill column inches -- claims that they do but most Democrats deny it. I'm just curious of something... You say that you are also of the opinion that the Democrats are going to try to ram through some "destructive" lame duck legislation. I'm curious as to what the heck you are basing that on. I mean is it based upon something that the Democrats have said our just stuff out of the right wing blogosphere? Yoda out...

Google or Bing these terms,"lame duck cap and tax". You will find plenty of sources. At least one will fill the bill for you. Your own statement says the "most Democrats deny it". That must mean you have seen where some democrats admit it. A denial from Democrat in these kind of times has what credibility?
