Yes. But let's not forget that all San Diego players with the exception of Adrian Gonzales have been busts. San Diego kids are all soft!

CV, I paraphrased that line about all players from San Diego except AG being soft from another poster on another thread that I had just read. Sorry, I don't know how to copy from one thread to another, and since it was a "quick thread" I couldn't use a wink to show irony. The article is about Stras, Leake and other SD kids who have made early impacts in the MLB, or are high-level prospects. I clearly don't agree with the original poster I was quoting. I know of a group of about 40 SD baseball prospects (HS/D1/and just drafted) working out this summer where throwing up is common. One I know personally chucked 3x today and is anxious to workout tomorrow. Soft? ?

gotcha. didn't get you were responding to the other post. things will be different next year as i know kids are working hard.
