First, they are not with NBC; they are with MSNBC and that is different. Kind of like Faux News and Fox Sports are different. Indeed, MSNBC seems to have adopted the Faux News business model in actively promoting an ideology.
Second, I'm not sure that I know what the point is. So their colleagues (or some unnamed group of people) want them to have more WH apologists on the show and they are objecting to doing so. The really interesting point -- which you seem to have missed -- is that apparently a lot of the dems / libs who they have brought on aren't backing the President.
But I don't see where outsiders wanting more Obama supporters to be on the show demonstrates their own bias. What demonstrates their bias is the admission (although it was really more of a wag) that supposed WH supporters outnumber detractors by 10-1. That is every bit as outrageous on the left as it is on the right.
Faux News does have some liberals on from time to time but they don't do it to engage in honest discussion. Rather, they tend to gang up on the interviewee, interrupting him repeatedly and when necessary out shouting him. Then, after he's gone, they take turns ridiculing him, miscasting his beliefs, etc.
Does MSNBC do the same to conservatives and Republicans? Just curious as to whether the adoption of business model has gone that far.
Yoda out...

Um, the host is a conservative and I watch it every morning and see a lot of conservatives as well as conservative Democrats. To this point it's pretty much been the most balanced show on cable. But all that aside, why is Breitbart whining? Please tell me exactly how many Progressives appear on Fox and Friends. Scarborough pulled that ratio out of his ass, but that aside again, the show is named after him and he is quite consistent in his conservative commentaries. Offer me one progressive that's allowed on Fox and please don't attempt to offer Juan Williams as a progressive - he's a conservative Democrat. But then again there is room in the Democratic Party for him - there is no longer any room for moderates in the Republicant Party. =Bob

Does MSNBC do the same to conservatives and Republicans? Just curious as to whether the adoption of business model has gone that far. Yes, they use the same tactics Fox does. But let's be clear: I don't find either Fox News, NBC News, CBS News, PBS News, or any other major news program to be biased in either direction. Never have noticed a liberal or conservative bias on actual newscasts. Morning Joe is one of the most balanced shows you'll find since one of the hosts is a conservative former Congressman out of Pensacola. Pooh simply offers trolls from right-wing websites, many of which, but especially Breitbart, who are known to manipulate news to suit their political agenda. Ask yourself - was that the entire conversation or did Breitbart edit it in order to meet his agenda? =Bob

Now, occasionally, he's downright sympathetic to the left-wing agenda. He's not a conservative by today's standards. And that means what? Crap or get off the pot John and please explain to us what the "left-wing agenda" it is that Joe is offering. And while you're at it, please tell me why Scarborough should not be considered to be a "Conservative". The simple fact is this, John - the only thing you offer is one-liners. You never actually engage in political discourse. If you have an argument offer it instead of offering bull$#!+ one-liners. I'm sure that worked for you 35 years ago when you were attending GE classes but it doesn't count for squat in the real world. =Bob

Please name the Progressives who appear on Fox and Friends. =Bob Even =Bob thinks "liberal" is a derogative term and has shifted to "progressive" to try to mask to evil meaning. All Fox shows of that type have many liberals on a recurring basis and many one time or infrequent liberal guests.
