....its time we start winning in conference. I'm sorry, but there should be no reason we can't consistently beat the likes of AFA, CSU, WYO, etc. We've had ONE winning conference record, and ONE .500 conference record (both by Tom Craft no less) since we've joined the MWC. That is pathetic.
Here are the conference records in the MWC
3-4 Tollner
3-4 Tollner
2-5 Tollner
4-3 Craft
3-4 Craft
2-5 Craft
4-4 Craft
3-5 Long
3-5 Long
1-7 Long
2-6 Hoke
Thats a 30-48 record and a .385 winning %. That downright stinks. Time to stop getting pushed around by similiar or inferior teams.

Yup, basically anyway you slice it we've lost to them - good or bad bcs teams, wac teams, the big 3, the other 5. Time to change the culture of losing.

Our cumulative record against Wyoming, UNLV and CSU is 20-13. That might not qualify as consistently beating them, but close enough that it shouldn't take much to get to the consistently beating level for those three. 2. However, we are just 4-7 against the aforementioned AFA. 3. Much worse, we are a cumulative 6-32 against the Big 3 and UNM. (I still say Ed Graney reported that after Rocky Long's third of four wins over Tom Craft, he heard Rocky make fun of Craft's hand signals, if not outright saying, at least implying, that he had stolen them and therefore knew our plays before we ran them.) |

(I still say Ed Graney reported that after Rocky Long's third of four wins over Tom Craft, he heard Rocky make fun of Craft's hand signals, if not outright saying, at least implying, that he had stolen them and therefore knew our plays before we ran them.) My god I had forgotten all about the HAND SIGNALS! Classic stuff. Graney didn't just REPORT it. It was a FACT, and Rocky wasn't the only coach who could figure out the signals Way worse than this was that some FANS could do it too. TOOYA |

Lets move on from this topic. Both were losers and have been shown the door. Both should have never been hired as head coaches let alone clean our teams bathrooms.
