TV markets are a big issue. The ACC has Boston, Miami, DC, Atlanta, among others.
We have BYU's national appeal among the LDS crowd, but now only part of SLC, a San Diego where Pac-10 games rate higher, Vegas, and some small outposts in Wyoming. Dallas-Ft Worth is a huge market but no one there cares about college sports.

Ummm, excuse me? I live in the DFW area and you are wroooong! This is a hot spot for college sports, high school sports, pro sports...these fans are rabid!
