Jedd Gyorko, 2010 2nd round pick, has an 8 game multiple hit streak at Lake Elsinore. Over the last 8 games he is hitting:

He probably won't be at Lake Elsinore long. If you want to see him play before he plays for the Padres you have to hurry. Or maybe in Escondido next year

Elsinore has some exciting players. Rincon might have the best bat on the squad, but defensively...he's a train wreck. Doesn't have a position. Fuentes is starting to come into his own a little bit. Keep your eye on Galvez. Big fan of this kid. 21 stolen bases in 23 attempts, hitting .283 right now as a 20 year old.

Elsinore has some exciting players. Rincon might have the best bat on the squad, but defensively...he's a train wreck. Doesn't have a position. Fuentes is starting to come into his own a little bit. Keep your eye on Galvez. Big fan of this kid. 21 stolen bases in 23 attempts, hitting .283 right now as a 20 year old. Galvez and Rincon are both 20 year olds that the Padres signed from Dominican Republic.

You'd be correct, sir. Galvez is one of the few guys in the organization that could probably stick at shortstop defensively.
