Who watched? I came in at 6:00 since I cannot properly subtract. 8 - 3 = 6. Correct? I almost lost it when it became a Palin love fest. Loved Ron Paul saying he'd have to "interview them more" for the VP slot. ;D Romney sounded much better this time around. Cain is out. I heard on MSNBC that Bachman did much better than expected. She kind of stole the early part of the debate with her announcement. What do the Repubs here think.

Didn't see it but the general consensus on Pawlenty is that he blew it big time by backing off on his word "Obomneycare". Refused to use it. =Bob

In general, I would like to see any of those seven plus Huntsman as of today in a debate with Obama. I am going to speculate that Obama will not risk any debates in a format that he could not control.
Pawlenty probably was wise in his decision not to go after Romney in NH where Romney owns a home and next door to MASS.
Had to laugh at that dweeb moderator in his attempts to cut off any answers before background could be laid for an answer and often well before the agreed upon 60 seconds.
How many people picked up on what Ron Paul had to say about the Federal Reserve and what it really means.
No new ideas were really put forward nor were there any moments when I did not think that all seven were immensely more qualified for the Presidency than Obama. I guess it remains to be seen how many non tax payers will continue to support Obama.

Looks like aztecwin would like to have poll taxes put back into affect.

Looks like aztecwin would like to have poll taxes put back into affect. Poll taxes would be very unfair. There should be someway to make sure that any voter would have some "skin in the game" beyond looking for what freebies they are offered.

Bachmann won hands down. Romney was OK for a guy with an 8 ton millstone hanging around his neck. Pawlenty was underwhelming. Cain=nut. Paul=nut, Newt=Newt, Santorum = the social conservative.

I am not all that sure that Cain is a nut, but I am sure that Paul is a nut with some very good ideas and observations. Just think about the function of the Fed and how it impacts us.

Cain=nut. Paul=nut, Newt=Newt, Santorum = the social conservative. You didn't need to watch to know that. Of course, none are actual candidates. Why do you think Bachmann won?

Um, yeah - you just continue to believe in Bachmann and her far-right agenda. I'm sure the independents will be falling all over themselves to vote for her . OTOH, the libertarians will argue with you forever that Ron Paul won the debate. Now, I know you think Bachmann is hot and Paul ain't, but I mean really, is your testosterone level a reason to vote for a candidate? =Bob

Just what I would expect from a stunted resident of Hillcrest looking for a job as a puck in a dwarf tossing contest. Am I getting close to crossing the "line"? ;D

Someone asked who I thought won the debate . IMO, she clearly did. Unlike you washed up old liberals, I don't believe in ANY politician. The world would be a far better place if there were far fewer of them. You liberals seem to think that if someone gets elected, they turn into sort of demigods, possessed with supernatural knowledge and insight that makes them better suited to run your life than even you and without a doubt, far better suited to run your neighbor's life than your neighbor. You may "believe" in the Wiener's of the world but I don't. And not to put too fine of a point on it but I said in another thread that she's someone I would not vote for in the primary because I don't think she can win the general. Said the same about Romney too. She won because she got the most effective shots in on The Empty Suit that currently pretends to be the president.

Well, aside from the trolls, my main point was my comment on libertarians believing Paul won the debate - I read an article on it the day after and the comments were filled with libertarians claiming that. I do understand that you're not so shallow, but I figured I'd troll a bit just to see if you'd bit . =Bob
