Typical, you did not even read the story. I read the story. And every single standardized reading comprehension test I ever took had the same percentile result. " 99+" You are playing in the wrong pool, fool. Looks like we now have a credibility problem as well. No way you did not pick up on the goon squad aspect.

Looks like we now have a credibility problem as well. No way you did not pick up on the goon squad aspect. I did not express an opinion because I do not know how to take the story, nor do I know why that agency has enforcement power, what crimes they are empowered to prevent among many other things. I do not know if the comments were made by someone with an axe to grind or there is more to the issue than I see in a short television report. I do not know the competence of the reporter or the slant of the television station. Most would have thought me reasonable for not taking a position until I understood just why the incident happened. What is obvious to you may not be apparent to me. I know that enforcement authorities overstep their bounds. I have had it happen to me. My wife was rejected from jury duty because of my incident and her expression of distrust for police. The bottom line is that I will express my opinion when I am comfortable. To infer that I support or reject the report infers too much. All I wanted to do when I responded to the thread is tease afan.

I can understand caution, but this is a political board and a pretty tame one at that. There is no risk in taking a side.
