I just posted a new column on 619Sports.Net discussing the Top 5 San Diego sports moments of the first six months of 2010. The Aztecs occupied two of my top five slots, find out which two here: 619sports.net/7309/halfway-through-2010-a-top-five-list/More than anything, if you're looking to kill a little time and have fun reliving great SDSU memories from the hoops season, check out all the links I provide in the story to our coverage of the Aztecs' tourney run, along with all the other sports moments I've placed on the list. I personally found it fun to reminisce. You may (ok probably WILL) disagree with the order of my list but it's a fun diversionary column.

Elsten - I just realized you posted this link. I'll be nicer (just erased my previous post).
How are the Women and Men's basketball teams not 1-2? Their performances and achievements are WAY more significant than the other three. C'mon mang!

Indoor soccer #1?!!! I realize its a championship and all, but c'mon. My slow-pitch beer guzzlin' softball team won our league this year. Does that count? How about ranking them in terms of TV ratings? Aztec b-ball would probably be #1-2. Sockers probably don't make it. BTW, don't they play at Del Mar racetrack-OUTdoors?

Indoor soccer, division 2 sports and a regular, early-season baseball game - wow.
I'm guessing you work or have friends or went to school at the first two and your a big Padres fan.
Sweet 16 and that awesome semifinal/final MWC tourney weekend 1/2

Eh. I don't care where the Aztecs were ranked. It was nice just remembering that magical run. Seeing both the mens and womens teams cutting down the nets in Las Vegas (wish I had gone!) was awesome. The womens run to the sweet sixteen erased a little of the bitterness over the loss to Tennessee. Can't wait for next season.

the soccers and the regular season baseball games being that high are jokes. Both hoops teams winning the title should be a lot higher.
