Nice "I know it’ll be the same thing when we report (to SDSU) on Monday.”I'm not up on all the rules and regulations, but I'm guessing they will report to the strength and conditioning coach? The coaches can't have contact with them right now, is that right?

I'm really curious as to which of the Oceanside kids from the last recruiting class (Galea'i, Whittaker, Fely, Siluano, Holder ) will end up seeing playing time as true freshman.

Nice gain from signing day. I wonder if he would play as a true or reshirt.

No, they report to the coaches. they are officially sdsu students. These guys are actually coming to sdsu quite late. there are a handful of freshman already here and who have been here for weeks, working out with the team. but there is no rule saying they cant talk to coaches or have meetings lol. they workout and lift with the strength coach, as well as do 7on7 and lineman drills, with the strength coach over seeing. So they can have unlimited contact with the coaches, they just can't practice with them? I thought there were dead periods of no contact.

dead periods has nothing to do with a coach talking to a player, thats only in recruiting. these guys have signed a letter of intent already and thus they arent recruits, they are sdsu student athletes. Now the dead period for them just means that any time there is a football out of the field (7on7), none of the coaches can be there, except for the strength coach. the coaches can talk to these players and have meetings with them. and the players can go up to their offices and talk with them. the whole dead period involving a coach talking to a player is when the player is a prospect. these players arents prospects anymore, they are sdsu football players, they coaches can talk to them 24/7 if they want No, they report to the coaches. they are officially sdsu students. Any update on that status of the incoming Freshman? I was curious if Ezell Ruffin made it in as he looked like a playmaker but needed a qualifying SAT score.

Is Jake Fely slotted to play outside linebacker at 5-foot-9, 195-pounds?

Is Jake Fely slotted to play outside linebacker at 5-foot-9, 195-pounds? My guess is that he will play the Warrior position.

No problem at all. Ezell Ruffin is going to make a huge impact on this team. Possibly even as soon as next year. Any update on that status of the incoming Freshman?
