Hudson to the DL. At least it isn't one of our players who was actual starting to hit.
Hundley should be back soon. That will help. He is the only Padre with an OPS above .700 at home.

Before anyone jumps on "players starting to hit". The average NL OPS is .702 this year. During May Brad Hawpe, Chris Denorfia, Eric Patterson, Chase Headley, and Ryan Ludwick all have an OPS above that level. Cameron Maybin, Jason Bartlett, and Jorge Cantu are within .050 points. Hudson is at .484. In the Padres recent 5 game home losing streak he was 1 for 18.

Will Forsythe actually get starts this time around? It's worth a shot considering Patterson is hitting 188 and gonzales is hitting 197.

Will Forsythe actually get starts this time around? It's worth a shot considering Patterson is hitting 188 and gonzales is hitting 197. Patterson started 2 for 28 and has been much better since. I hope both Forsythe and Tekotte get some starts on this road trip. Getting Hundley back will be huge.
