I think the real problem here is if it is funded by taxpayers and not the democratic party of the Committee for the REElection of the President. Even HufPost admits this is about reelecting the President.
Imagine, if you will, had Mr. Bush tried to do this.... hmmmm.....?

Let's clear something up here. My job when I went up river was not to look for people to shoot, it was to escort medical personnel into remote hamlets. To help people. It is called the MEDCAP program. Google it.
Sometimes the guys on your side would set an ambush, and launch some B-40s from the river bank. They didn't want us gaining any positive influence with the rural population. Of course, our side was permitted to respond in those circumstances.
I'm proud of the help we were able to provide, the property we were able to preserve, and the lives we were able to save during my career in the "greatest welfare system in history". And that's not limited to just the Viet-Nam war.
