I like Mucho Macho Man and Archarcharch, but I'm betting on the huge field and lack of a great horse to lead to an unexpected winner.
I bet a total of $60 as follows:
$10 to win on Archarcharch - win ~$130/profit $70 $10 to win on Brilliant Speed - win ~$260/profit $200 $10 to win on Coma to the Top - win ~$350/profit $290 $10 to win on Santiva - win - win ~$340/profit $280
$5 to win on Stay Thirsty - win ~$80/profit $20 $5 to win on Mucho Macho Man - win ~$45/loss $15 $5 to win on Shackleford - win ~$115/profit $55 $5 to win on Nehro - win ~$45/loss $15

Go Comma to the Top, No. 6.
Archarcharch is on the rail, no chance, you've got to pick no. four through no. ten with twenty in the field. With 20 horses it's like you have three levels of racing, a bunch that stay in the lead, the second bunch that can never pass the bunch in the lead and the third bunch that's completely blocked by the second bunch. No. 6 or maybe Stay Thirsty or long shot, Derby Kitten.
Who's the filly riding?
Post time coming up!

6,10,11, in that order, would pay for my Laughlin trip at the end of the month. I also have a win bet on those 3 horses as well as the 4. I always play a 7,2 exacta box because my high school football number was 72, but so much money has come in on the female rider that the bet won't be very lucrative if it hits.

HAM Totally wrong. 13,16,19...those horses all conspire to let the cute animal named horse win every year...of course, I never bet money, only do it for the fun. Animal Kingdom... Next up, the Preakness in two weeks...what's the drink at the Preakness? HAM

The Black-Eyed Susan. www.preakness.com/preakness-tradition/black-eyed-susan-official-drink-preaknessI got shutout, but my buddy went to Barona last night just to bet the race. He bet $110 total, which included $20 on Animal Kingdom to win and a $1 exacta box that included Animal Kingdom and Nehro. Nice little $493 profit. This guy came home from the MWC tournament up $900, went to Laughlin 3 weeks later and came home $1,900 up, spent a couple hours at Sycuan a week later and made $400 and now this. Dick.
